About Dan Astle

For ten years, Dan served as Senior Financial Analyst for fast-growing professional employer organization (PEO) and business services company, Avitus Group. Specifically, Dan was Financial Analyst at Avitus Group for the company’s diverse business offerings, including the company’s PEO, accounting, information technology (IT), recruiting, marketing, medical billing, tax preparation, insurance, and training services. Each of these services are standalone companies, for which Dan created annual budgets, working closely with each director to help them better understand and make decisions based on their financial statements. As a result, Dan was instrumental in Avitus Group becoming one of the largest PEOs in the US.
Dan is well-positioned to act as fractional CFO for small and mid-sized businesses. As owner of a printing and marketing company for more than ten years, Dan has an acute understanding of the challenges and struggles all business-owners face, particularly in the areas of cash-flow and staffing. He also served as a part-time CFO for an HVAC company and a large retail jewelry store. This combined experience not only gives Dan insights into these industries, but also enabled him to hone his skills as a fractional CFO.

Dan Astle earned a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Montana.
